The Failings Of Our Generation

  • Saturday, December 7, 2024

As I approach this holy season and reflect on all of my blessings I must pause and say thank you Jesus for allowing me to reach these golden years.

I have lived an amazing life with very few regrets. My biggest regret is that my generation, who has received the most of any generation in the history of mankind, will not preserve our universe for future generations.

Greed and power have taken over and to heck with everything else. I feel we have failed our grandchildren and future generations by our short-sidedness on climate change, health care and our concern for the well being of our fellow human beings.

I am so glad I lived in the most amazing period of human existence and I am very sorry I didn’t do more to maintain our planet’s future prosperity.
