Jericho Brass Band Presents "Bach To The Beatles" Feb. 25 At Hixson 1st Baptist Church

The Jericho Brass Band will perform music "from Bach to the Beatles" at a concert this coming Sunday at 4 p.m. at Hixson First Baptist Church, 5800 Grubb Road in Hixson.

Organizers said, "Please come and join us for the rich and enjoyable music written and published by two pillars of their music world - Johann Sebastian Bach and the Beatles - with a variety of other ‘all family’ quality musical sounds from quality composers between; musical writers from Bach, to Sousa, to Ballantine, to Anderson and that Echo of an Era….the Beatles.

"Musical scores were selected to appeal to the whole family, from grandma and grandpa, to mom and dad and kids too.
Competition scores, hymns, marches, a new music tone poem called 'Cathedrals' and written especially for Jericho Brass Band, and some ‘old favorites’ will be performed.

"Bring your neighbors and your whole family for an afternoon of delight brought to you by the quality musicians of the Jericho Brass Band, with Frank Hale, director and Jerry Pollard, associate director."
