Mitchell "Mitch" Lynn Caszatt, husband of Marion Caszatt, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 62 on February 19, 2024.

Mitch was born January 23,1962 in Münchingen, Germany, son of Ingrid Martz and Richard Caszatt.

After graduating high school, Mitch joined the United States Army in 1979 and served as an infantry rifleman. After being honorably discharged, Mitch obtained his CDL to jumpstart his career as a truck driver.

He enjoyed watching sports with his son, Dylan, especially enjoyed rooting for his favorite team the Florida Gators. On the summer weekends, you would find him spending time outside grilling up some dinner.

Mitch was proceeded death by his grandparents, Vernon (Marguerite) Caszatt and Wilhelm (Franziska) Martz.

Surviving by his wife, Marion Caszatt of Ooltewah, Tn.; two children, Michelle (Grayson) Wright and Dylan Caszatt; parents, Ingrid Martz and Richard (Maria) Caszatt; brothers, Michael and Eric (Laura) Caszatt; nephew, Christopher Yarrington and nieces, Anslee and Amelia Caszatt.

We are welcoming friends and family to Mitchell's graveside service, Friday, March 1, at 1:30 p.m at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

As a brain and lung cancer patient, the family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made in his honor to the American Lung Association and/or American Brain Tumor Association.
