Jennye S. Miller
Jennye S. Miller, 73, passed away on February 17, 2024.
She was born in Paducah, Ky., on June 3, 1950, to the late Virgil Ray and Eva Frances Osborne. She was with the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau for over 35 years until her retirement in 2016. Her love of animals knew no bounds. She volunteered her time with McKamey Animal Shelter. She was an avid Beatles and Elvis fan. Jennye spent her pastime reading into all hours of the night. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents, great-granddaughter, Karington Mae Miner, a son-in-law, Tom Johnson, and her special friend, Vinny Lucchesi.
Left behind to cherish Jennye’s memory are her children, Lorri (Geoff) Bragg and Angie Johnson, brother, Ray Osborne, grandchildren, Kaben Bragg, Kara Johnson, and Kali Johnson, her nephew, Cory Osborne, one great-granddaughter, Remington Johnson, and lastly her special fur baby, Sugarbucket.
A Celebration of Jennye’s Life will be held in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 5-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jennye’s memory can be made to McKamey Animal Shelter.
