Noon Development celebrated the official opening of the East Ridge Physicians Building this week with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.

Noon Development purchased and modernized the 27,770-square-foot medical office building at 929 Spring Creek Road. The building is now occupied by Spring Creek Pediatrics, Chattanooga Medical Research LLC, Galen OBGYN Ridgeside and Galen Digestive.

“The interior and exterior of this building are completely renovated, and we recruited new businesses to the location and helped the current tenants expand,” said Bob Elliott, president of Noon Development.
“Each group of physicians worked with us to make the space unique to them and their teams. This project shows how you can transform and reinvent an older building while helping the tenants stay in a location that has worked well for them.”

Spring Creek Pediatrics resided in the building before the renovation and used the opportunity to update the office interior and expand by 2,000 square feet, including an area where sick patients can check in and wait, separate from children having routine visits.

“Spring Creek Pediatrics has added staff and patients, but we needed more room to truly expand the practice,” said owner Dr. Stephanie Stegall. “Our newly divided office creates a separate area for children with active symptoms, and that makes for a much better experience for everyone. Thanks to the expansion and renovation, we can now accept new patients.”

Two new tenants moved into the building, including Chattanooga Medical Research LLC (CRM), as well as multiple physicians with Galen Medical Group. CMR is a dedicated research center serving a range of therapeutic areas, including women’s health, endocrinology, vaccines, internal medicine, weight loss and more. "Through its partnerships with major pharmaceutical sponsors, CMR brings opportunities to the community to participate in the cutting edge of medicine under the medical supervision of their physicians, David M. Barker, MD, Charles A. Crump, MD, and D. Scott Harnsberger, MD, as well as the entire professional research team," officials said.

“We are thrilled to relocate our clinical research center to the city of East Ridge,” said Chattanooga Medical Research Co-Founder and Director Yvonne Chester. “We are in a period of rapid growth with the number of clinical trials we are conducting, so expanding our office space is helping us better serve our patients.”

Multiple physicians with Galen OBGYN Ridgeside are located on the first floor, including Dr. Erica Angelino, Dr. David Barker, Dr. Scott D. Harnsberger, Dr. Melissa Lee, Dr. Jordan Staton, Dr. Lauren Thomas and Dr. Karen Tinsley. In addition, Dr. Camille Sommer and Corinne Hinson, NP, with Galen Digestive, will share part of the suite on the first floor.

“This location was selected due to its proximity to Parkridge East Hospital, which is located right next door, making it incredibly convenient for our physicians and patients,” said Dr. Barker, Galen Medical Group.

The city of East Ridge welcomed the renovation and new providers.

“We are pleased to welcome each of these new providers and their staff to the City of East Ridge, and we’re especially proud when businesses, like SpringCreek Pediatrics, choose to stay and invest further. That really reflects what a wonderful community we have here,” said East Ridge Mayor Brian Williams in a written statement. “This expansion brought more healthcare options and medical services to the citizens of East Ridge, and we were pleased to celebrate the continued growth within the City of East Ridge with the ribbon cutting.”

Just 2,363 square feet remain available for lease on the second floor of the building. "This newly-renovated space is a great fit for a medical specialty or for general medical office space," officials said.
