Lee University To Offer BSC Transfer Student Scholarship

  • Friday, April 12, 2024

In light of the recent announcement of Birmingham Southern College’s unexpected closure, Lee University is committed to helping BSC students complete their degree by offering multiple guaranteed benefits for BSC transfer students.

“Lee University has so many of the qualities that has made Birmingham Southern such a great place for students,” said Dr. Paul Conn, Lee chancellor and president elect. “We would love to welcome BSC transfers to Lee; I believe it can be an excellent choice for many of them.”

The university will provide a $5,000 scholarship for students transferring from BSC. In addition to a Christ-centered experience, students can expect one-on-one assistance in making the transition. Lee will also help students find smooth academic and financial pathways to complete their degree.

In addition to the BSC transfer scholarship, Lee offers more than 300 Endowment Scholarships, for which students may apply. Transfer students also have access to the Transfer and Community Services House on campus, which provides a supportive environment in which to get connected with students and faculty on campus and get involved with other university programs and activities.

For more information about the BSC Transfer Student Scholarship or to apply to Lee, contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@leeuniversity.edu or 614-8500.
