William Robert “Bobby” Barbee, 62, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024.

He attended Hernando High School in Brooksville, Fl., and was a member of Grace World Outreach Church. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his children, his grandchildren, and his family and friends very much. Bobby would witness to everyone he met, which was everyone, because he never met a stranger. He retired as a stock manager and was a devoted sports fan. He especially enjoyed fishing and basketball. Bobby adored his church, family gatherings, barbeques, and listening to Christian music.

He was dearly loved by all, and he leaves behind family and friends who will miss his unconditional love, his infectious smile and his heart of gold.

Every time we would see you, we would ask, “How you doin’?” and no matter how you felt, your reply was, “I’m doin’ good!”, with your handsome smile.

We will always be grateful for your love and the wonderful memories you created, they will forever be in our hearts. You now walk with the Lord, Mama, Dad and so many others. You were ready to join them. You’re now without pain, you are healed. This isn’t “Goodbye”, this is, “Bye, and we love you. We’ll see you again in heaven!”

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Janet Barbee.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Barbee (Cherie) and Anthony Barbee; daughters, Janet Barbee Schramm (Jeremy) and Samantha Barbee Bryan (George); brother, Stacy Barbee; sisters, Robin Bishop (Bill), Tracie Wood (Bob) and Kimberly Kaminski (Jim), grandchildren, Alissa, Simeon, Vincent, Amelia, Arthur, Madeline, Weston, Everleigh and Easton, as well as best friend, Tom O’Neil.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21, from 12–3 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3 p.m. with Pastor Kimberly Kaminski officiating.

Bobby will be laid to rest in Williamson Cemetery.
