United Way Announces Finalists For Annual Nonprofit Celebrate Awards

United Way of Greater Chattanooga announces the finalists for its annual Celebrate Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements within the local nonprofit sector in the last year.  

Finalists for the five distinct categories are:

Live United, not Divided Award - Recognizing efforts to promote unity and collaboration in addressing community challenges.

Innovation in Action Award - Acknowledging innovative approaches to solving social issues and improving outcomes.

"Chattanooga’s nonprofit sector works so hard to support our community, and celebrating them is always a highlight of the year,” said Abby Garrison, vice president of Community Investments of United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
“We hope everyone will come out to support them and have a blast with us at the ceremony.” 

The finalists were selected through a community-led nomination and review process and winners in each category will be revealed at the Celebrate Awards ceremony on May 21 at 5:30 pm. The event will be held at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre.
