The women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Gamma Iota Zeta Chapter and The Royal Dove Foundation, Incorporated announce “A Tea with Z,” a fundraiser and tribute to the works of Triumphant Soror and acclaimed author, Zora Neale Hurston.
The tea this year is themed “Embracing Finer.” The event will showcase music and spoken word performances. Ladies and gentlemen are invited to the fun, food and finer side of the arts and black culture.
A Tea with Z luncheon will be held at Mt.
Peria Baptist Church at 341 Sparks St. in Ringgold on Saturday, April 13 at 2 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $50. Proceeds will benefit the sorority’s academic scholarship program as well as community projects. To purchase tickets, go to Eventbrite (processing fees may apply).
