William Louis “Bill” Taylor, age 82, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024.

Bill was born in Cleveland, TN, on February 22, 1942, the son of the late Charlie L. Taylor and Clara Coe Taylor. He was a member of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he played softball for over 30 years. Bill retired from Hickory Valley Electric and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union Number 175. He enjoyed softball, yard working and bowling. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Amos Taylor (Mamie Jo), Frances Taylor, Margie Taylor Luttrell (Lyle), Roy Taylor (Linda), and Dewey Taylor (Diana).

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Kim Taylor; grandson, Matthew Taylor; granddaughter, Chelsea Dempsey; sister, Dorothy Nance (Kenny) and a brother, Ken Taylor (Glenda). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Silverdale Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
