Diane Kerr, McCracken Poston, and Pam Malone
Well-known Ringgold, Ga., criminal defense trial lawyer, McCracken Poston, Jr., on Friday spoke to the Chattanooga Civitan Club about his new book.
Zenith Man is a true story about a man he defended in court, who he said was falsely accused of murdering and kidnapping his wife.
Attorney Poston said it was determined long after his trial that his client was Autistic. This led to more revelations, and his client was later ruled not guilty.
Neal Thompson, club program chairman, said, "This book is a best seller and has captured the interest of the public.
"Attorney Poston, a former Georgia state representative, has been involved in other cases that have appeared as stories on Dateline, CNN, and also on MSNBC.
"He is known by the legal community as a fighter for his clients . The attorney came from humble origins and answered several questions from the members at the conclusion of his presentation."
