Erlanger Hires Dr. Rachel Murray And Reopens Medical Mall Dermatology Office

Erlanger Dermatology has hired Rachel Murray, DO, and announces the reopening of the downtown Chattanooga office, located in the Erlanger Medical Mall in Suite A-445. Dr. Murray is now accepting new patients.

Dr. Murray is a Chattanooga native and attended Notre Dame High School. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her residency with HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital where she served as chief dermatology resident, was on the resident advisory board for Florida Academy of Dermatology and presented at various national conferences including the Symposium of Advanced Wound Care, Cosmetic Surgery Forum and ODAC Dermatology, Aesthetic, and Surgery Conference.

Officials said, "Dr.
Murray is passionate about dermatology. She believes it encompasses the perfect blend of critical thinking, procedural skills and continuity of care. She enjoys treating patients of all skin types and of all ages from newborn to geriatric. She provides services in skin cancer prevention, complex medical dermatology, surgical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys treating a variety of skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, cutaneous oncology, hair loss, nail disorders, lupus, dermatomyositis, autoimmune blistering disorders, vitiligo, melasma and skin care needs related to the LGBTQ/SGM community. She is passionate about providing an inclusive space where patients can feel safe and seek medical care without judgement."
