Born in Chattanooga, Ned later moved to Pell City, Al., following his marriage. He and Thalia, his devoted wife of 33 years, cherished their time spent at their beautiful lake home on Logan Martin Lake. The lake life brought Ned immense joy, and he held dear friendships with many fellow lake enthusiasts.

Edward educational journey began at Baylor High School in Chattanooga, where he cultivated a close-knit circle of friends, including David Williams, Carlton Davis, Chip Griffin, Ross Clingan, Steven Musick, Brew Yates, Mike Murdock, Paul Sutter, Mark Brown, and Scott Stanford. Following high school, he attended the University of Georgia and became a proud member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

After graduating, Ned launched his career in telecommunications and moved to Birmingham, where he met his beautiful wife, Thalia Lenis Baker. They later moved to their grand lake home, where Ned founded his own company, Light Cast. Over the years, he embraced various hobbies, but it was the lake life that brought him the greatest happiness.

Ned is survived by his wife, Thalia Baker; his twin sister, Julia Baker Dooley (Doug Dooley); and his older brother, Wade Baker (Anne Baker). He also leaves behind his cherished nieces: McLain Dooley Maclellan, Shelby Dooley Mullins, Elizabeth Baker, and Stephanie Baker.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Baylor High School, Chattanooga.

Arrangements are being handled by Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave, Pell City, Al. 35125.

Ned will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
