The Chattanooga Lookouts dropped the finale of their series with the Columbus Clingstones on Sunday afternoon by a score of 8-2. Jose Acuna took the loss on the mound after allowing four runs on eight hits in five and a third innings. He moves to 5-3 on the season.
Austin Hendrick provided the lone bright spot with a homerun for the Lookouts in the third inning, his fourth of the season. Sal Stewart continued his hot hitting, collecting two of the Lookouts five total hits. He sports a .328 average on the year.
The Lookouts have Monday off before heading to Knoxville for a six game series. Chattanooga is 24-23 on the season and is now 2.5 game back in the standings with Birmingham sitting in first and Knoxville right behind them at four games back.
