25-005704-Ringgold Rd./Mack Smith Rd.- Indecent Exposure/ Field
Interview
Police responded to the intersection of Ringgold Rd. and Mack Smith Rd. on reports of a female screaming at cars while naked. Officers spoke with the female who was fully clothed. The woman stated she had been discharged from a local hospital approximately three hours earlier. Police provided a courtesy ride. FI# 25-000083

25-005711 – 1300 BLK San Hsi Drive – Aggravated Criminal Trespass
The caller reported that her juvenile daughter’s ex-boyfriend broke into their residence.
Once inside, he allegedly hung around the living room for approximately thirty minutes without speaking to anyone, and no one in the home confronted him or called the police. The resident provided video footage of the suspect on her property. Later in the shift, he was taken into custody by CSU in Chattanooga on outstanding East Ridge warrants.

25-005719 – 1300 BLK Boyd Street – Disorder
A party called police after her landlord allegedly tampered with her belongings as she was moving them out. On arrival, officers found that the landlord was cleaning the kitchen and denied ever instigating an argument
with the caller. Both parties agreed to get along.

25-005715 – 1000 BLK Wynnwood Road - Suspicious Activity
Police spoke with a party in the ERPD Lobby. She suspected her neighbors had been vandalizing one of her vehicles but was not able to provide any proof. Police suggested she install security cameras and report any further incidents that occur. The resident requested her home be placed on the Watch List.

25-005720 – 3600 BLK Maiden Drive - Disorder Prevention
Police stood by while a party gathering her remaining belongings from the residence.

25-005713 - Fountain Avenue – Theft
Police spoke with the manager of the apartments, who said a former unauthorized tenant had stolen a 5-gallon bucket of paint on 05/22/2025. The theft was reported by a maintenance employee to management on
05/23/2025. The manager alerted police to the original theft when she discovered that the suspect allegedly placed an order at supplier in Chattanooga on 05/27/2025 posing as an employee. The supplier would need
to file a theft report for the loss they suffered. Police responded to a duplex on a report that someone was trying to break into a home. Officers spoke with the tenants who said a known woman was banging on the front door attempting to break it down. Police also spoke with the woman who said her cousins had some of her belongs and wanted them to open the door and give her the property. Officers diffused the situation; The
woman was given a portion of her belongs and advised to contact her cousins when things cool down. The residents requested she be trespassed from the property. Proximity Restriction #25-000105

Night Shift May 30: C Team

25-005733 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting
Staff reported an unknown male, and female stole several items from the store. A witness stated the two individuals entered the business, loaded several items in a basket, then walked out without paying. The couple left in a dark color SUV with a documented GA plate. Police are working to obtain video of the incident along with a list of stolen items. Arrest warrants are pending identification of the two suspects.

25-005734 – 900 BLK S Seminole Drive– Disorder / Arrest
Police and Fire Department personnel responded to a smoke alarm in at the apartments. Responders attempted to contact the residents of the apartment, but no one came to the door. Police forced entry into the apartment and found the suspect sitting in her bedroom and determined that she had intentionally set off the alarm for no legitimate purpose. This is a recurring issue with the resident. Police arrested her and charged her with False Reporting and Disorderly Conduct.

25-005738 – 1000 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Theft
The victim reported a Husky zero-turn lawnmower, and a Billy Goat vacuum were stolen from a garage at this address. He stated the last time he saw the equipment was the previous evening after work. The incident is currently under investigation and no suspects have been identified.

25-005744 – 10 BLK Crescent Park, Ridgeside – Check Hazard
Police responded to the report of two large trees falling in the City of Ridgeside. Officers located the two trees and found there were resting against surrounding foliage but found no homes or infrastructure were in their
path. The East Ridge Fire Department and Chattanooga Police Department were both made aware of the incident for situational awareness.

25-005745 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Criminal Trespass / Arrest
Police observed a suspicious male looking into the business windows located in the 6400 BLK Ringgold Road. Officers identified the male and determined he had been criminally trespassed the previous week, reference Case #25- 005447. He was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

25-005753 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Delayed Assault –
A nurse at a medical facility in Chattooga County, GA contacted Police and advised a patient in their care had been assaulted in East Ridge. The nurse stated the victim had been punched in the face by his son. Police attempted to speak with the victim, but he refused to provide any information on the incident to include the identity of his son. Officers also found that no one at the business reported a disorder or an assault during the incident timeframe. An incident report was completed.

25-005758 – 1000 BLK Spring Creek Road – Motor Vehicle Crash / Arrest
Police located a white Honda Civic with front end damage in front of Spring Creek Elementary School. Officers located the driver near the vehicle and identified him. Police determined he was heavily intoxicated, and he was
arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

25-005771 – 4100 BLK Ealy Road– Disorder with a Weapon
Officers responded to this address after a man reportedly came at another man with a knife. Officers learned a verbal argument ensued in the kitchen while the knife holder was slicing vegetables. He denied ever charging theother with the knife. The caller could not remember how far the suspect advanced, nor if any verbal threats were made while he was holding the knife. Officers were unable to prove the subject had intent to harm and no charges were filed. The parties agreed to separate for the day.

25-005763-200 BLK Eads St.- Vandalism
Police responded to the apartments on reports of a vehicle that had been vandalized. Upon arrival, police spoke with a male who advised he came out to his vehicle at 1130hrs and noticed all four of his tires had been punctured with a sharp object. Furthermore, the male advised the unknown suspect kicked his car door, leaving a footprint and a dent.

25-005760- 1300 BLK St. Thomas St.- Miscellaneous
Police called a resident of the housing at his request. The resident advised his neighbor was doing drugs. The resident stated that his neighbor continued to harass him. The resident could not provide any specifics regarding the harassment but did advise his neighbor needed to go to jail. The resident was asked to get in contact with the housing director.

Night Shift May 31 : C Team

25-005781 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft
Police responded to the Exxon gas station for a reported Theft. It was determined that an unknown juvenile entered the business and stole several tobacco and CBD products. The suspect then fled on foot toward Choate Road. Police checked the area but did not locate the male suspect. Juvenile attachments will be sought pending identification.

25-005782 – I-24 Westbound, MM 184 – Assist Other Agency / Serious
Injury Crash
East Ridge Police responded to the report of a serious motorcycle crash on I24 Westbound. Officers located the injured person lying between the Interstate and North Terrace in Chattanooga. The East Ridge Fire Department responded and provided immediate medical aid until EMS arrived. The injured rider was then transported to Erlanger Hospital. Chattanooga Police responded and completed a crash investigation with ERPD assistance.

25-005784 – 400 BLK S. Howell Avenue – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation
/ Arrest
Police stopped a gold Toyota Camry for a registration violation and found the front passenger had an unsecured juvenile in her lap. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed 6 grams of suspected Ecstasy, 10 grams of marijuana, a small amount of suspected cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule I, Possession of Schedule II, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Child Endangerment.

25-005789 – 4200 BLK Greenbriar Road – Disorder
Police responded to a Disorder and observed three males fighting in the front yard of a residence. One male fled from the area while screaming at Police. The other two individuals remained in the yard and complied with
lawful commands. Officers determined all three subjects were intoxicated and no injuries were observed. The two remaining individuals were escorted home. Arrest warrants for the drunken runner were secured on the charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Stop, Halt, Frisk.

25-005791 – I-24 Westbound, MM 185 – Assist Other Agency / Vehicle Fire
While checking for a suspicious person, Police observed a tractor trailer sitting on the interstate in Chattanooga with heavy smoke coming from the vehicle. Police assisted the truck driver in isolating the source of the fire and several Fire Department units responded to the location. Due to jurisdictional requirements, THP responded to inspect the damaged tractor trailer.

25-005792 – 700 BLK S. Germantown Road – Missing Juvenile
A concerned citizen reported a small child running southbound on Germantown Road. Police located the child near Ringgold Road and secured him. A few minutes later, the child’s mother reported him missing from their
apartment. Officers returned the child and found that he had snuck out while his mother was sleeping. CPS report will be completed.

25-005778 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Back-up Fire / Dumpster Fire
Police responded to a dumpster fire at an apartment complex and located a small fire inside the dumpster closest to Spring Creek Road. The East Ridge Fire Department responded to the location and extinguished the fire. Day Shift June 1: A Team

25-005801 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive - Well Being Check
Police were called to a yard sale after a young mother asked residents for help. The mother had her 5 y/o son and 7-day old daughter with her. She told police she did not have anywhere to stay and needed help with her children. While police attempted to find suitable housing for her, she began to exhibit odd behavior; she would be calm and then angry. She said she did not feel safe around her children and made claims she had spiders on her. CPS was contacted and the woman was transported for an evaluation.

25-005805- 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Vandalism
Police responded to this location after a female advised her tire had been punctured with a sharp object. She advised she was door dashing an order and noticed her car tire was flat after she left the parking lot. Police spoke with management who provided police with footage of the incident.

25-005794-6700 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Open Door
While on routine patrol, police noticed the gate behind the business was unsecured and open. Police conducted a “park and walk” to check the premise. Nothing was located and the party responsible was notified. The owner responded to the scene to secure the gate.

25-005796 – 1600 BLK Springvale Road – Civil Matter
The caller advised that she had guardianship over a juvenile and was having trouble with the juvenile’s biological mother. She said the two could not agree on who was going to transport the juvenile during custody exchanges and were informed this was not a police matter. A report was completed regarding one sending the other vulgar texts during the argument.

25-005802 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service
A wanted party was taken into custody in Pickons County, GA. No Case Number – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service A man was served with three East Ridge warrants while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail for the following offenses: Burglary of an Auto x2 and Theft over $10,000.00 (Theft of Motor Vehicle).

25-005789 – 4200 BLK Greenbriar Road – Warrant Service
Police located a man at his residence and took him into custody for two active arrest warrants through the City of East Ridge. The charges on the warrants were for disorderly conduct and evading arrest. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issue.

25-005801 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive – Well Being Check / Update
The hospital released a woman earlier taken into protective custody and she was transported to the East Ridge Police Station to be re-united with her children. At the Police Station, her demeanor changed, and she demonstrated bizarre behavior to include random outbursts and removing all her clothes. She was placed into protective custody and transported to another hospital where she was admitted as a patient. A CPS case worker took temporary custody of her two children.

25-005813 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Evading Arrest
Police initiated a traffic stop with a silver sedan and the driver was identified. Officers discovered he had an active warrant through Florida for Burglary. An Officer attempted to apprehend him, but he was non-compliant
resulting in a TASER deployment. The TASER proved ineffective, and the man fled on foot. Police established a perimeter but were unable to locate the suspect. ERPD is seeking additional warrants for Evading, Resisting Arrest, Driving without a License, and Financial Responsibility.

25-005815 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Hold-up Alarm
Police responded to a hold-up alarm at the grocery store. Officers found multiple individuals in and around the store with no signs of distress. The manager stated there was an accidental alarm activation while cleaning the
store.

25-005816 – 400 BLK S. Howell Avenue – Domestic Assault
Police responded to a disorder with a weapon and found the suspect fled prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Officers located the victim and found she had minor injuries. She stated her boyfriend slapped her across the face, but no weapons were involved. Police are seeking an arrest warrant for on the charge of domestic assault.

Day Shift June 2: B Team

25-005816/Supplement – 400 BLK S Howell Ave – Agg Domestic Assault
The male half from the earlier incident came to ERPD to report a delayed domestic assault, at the above address, involving his ex-girlfriend/child’s mother. The incident occurred around 2300 hrs. A verbal argument that carried from inside the residence further escalated outside where the woman allegedly brandished a knife and attempted to stab him. Two adults intervened by holding the woman back. The man sustained minor lacerations to his face and hand that corroborated the allegations of the incident. A juvenile was standing in front of the man during the assault, placing him in immediate danger. Warrants pending further investigation from primary officers.

25-005828 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Missing Adult
Police spoke with a concerned relative and a long-time friend of the subject who reported the party as missing. The call originated with the Chattanooga Police Department, with a motel on Williams Street being the last point of contact for the party on March 22, 2025. CPD stated their records showed thesubject was transported by their agency after it was discovered the party had a valid warrant through the East Ridge Police Department, however, during the transport, the subject requested medical attention and was transported to
for evaluation. CPD advised that it was the last contact for their agency and East Ridge was able to determine the party was successfully transported from the hospital to the jail where she later made bail. Upon review of the party’s information, it was found CPD had again contacted the party at the motel on Williams St on 05/22/2025 and the reporting parties were again referred to CPD for the report.

25-005829-Fountain Ave/Mchann Drive-Unknown 911
Police checked the area on an unknown 911 call; no signs of distress were located.

25-005831- 1400 BLK Greenslake Rd.- Wellbeing Check
Police were contacted by APS to conduct a wellbeing check on a resident at this address. APS was originally contacted regarding possible fraudulent activity in her financial accounts but there were concerns regarding her health. No contact was made at her residence. All doors appeared secure, and a vehicle was observed in the driveway that was registered to her.

25-005833- 1400 BLK Choate Rd – Lost Tag
A party called to report a lost tag. He told officers he purchased his Chevrolet Colorado approximately two months ago and the dealership sent his new registration plate to the address listed on his driver’s license, but he does not reside there any longer. To receive a new registration, he was required to file a report.

25-005834-3600 BLK Fountain Avenue-Suspicious Activity
Police responded to the apartments with the courtesy officer to address a group of juveniles trespassing in the apartment complex swimming pool. The group was gone upon arrival.

25-005835 1400 BLK Marlboro – Traffic Stop
Following a traffic stop, police took a man into custody on an East Ridge warrant for Criminal Simulation. He was transported to Hamilton Jail and Cited for Expired Registration and Driving on suspended license.

25-005852 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder/Arrest
ERPD responded to the in on a reported Disorder between a repossession agent and a vehicle owner. Officers determined that the vehicle owner was attempting to stop the agent from leaving the scene after he had already obtained the vehicle. The suspect refused all commands to stop hindering the free will to leave. When officers attempted to move her, she struck an officer in the face with a closed fist causing minor injuries. She was taken into custody a short time later and charged with False Imprisonment, Assault on Police, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct.

25-005848 – 6515 Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity
Management for the restaurant reported a male and a female exhibiting odd behavior in the parking lot. Police contacted the male but were unable to locate the female. The man decided to move along after speaking with
officers.

25-005840 – 712 Summit Avenue – Harassment
A caller having trouble with a family member requested information about getting a restraining order. Police provided information about how to obtain a Temporary Restraining Order with Hamilton County Courts.

25-005846 – 4150 Ringgold Road – Theft
A customer left twenty dollars in the drawer for fuel without the clerk noticing. The cash was used by the customer behind her in line to purchase cigarettes. Management refunded the customer’s money.
