David Columbus Lane
David Columbus Lane, 88, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on May 29, 2025. He was an avid coon hunter, who enjoyed his coon hunting.
David was a crane operator with Serodino Incorporated for over 40 years. He was a member of the Alhambra Shriners, and a faithful member of Suck Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Smith; step-sons, Tony McArthur and Scott McArthur; and his siblings, Allen Lane, Tommy Lane, Robert Lane, Percy Lane, Gerald Lane, Vallie Reid, Bonnie Evans, Donna Benson and Linda Bryant.
David is survived by his wife, Emma Faye Lane; daughter, Darlene (Randy) Ames, two sons, Darrell Lane and Scott (Melissa) Lane; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Jean (Charlie) Ray, and his brother, Richmond Lane.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 3, at 2 p.m. from the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Kellogg officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Suck Creek Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
