Medical Assisting Pinning
Cleveland State Community College recently held a Medical Assisting Pinning Ceremony. Eleven students graduated with a certificate in Medical Assisting and were pinned during the ceremony.
Medical assistants work in family practices, specialty practices, and walk-in clinics. They are multi-skilled health professionals trained to perform administrative and clinical duties. The program is completed in three terms (fall, spring and summer) and includes a 180-hour externship in a physician’s practice.
