This Sunday morning, Billy Christol, lead pastor of First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe, will start a new series called "Unfiltered," where he will be teaching about the challenging sayings of Jesus that push us beyond our comfort zones.
First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe is at 2645 Lafayette Road and has a classic service at 9:45 a.m. and a modern service at 11 a.m. Bible studies meet all over campus at 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. It was started as a church plant in 1952.
Pastor Christol will be discussing how we can embrace a faith that truly transforms and strips away complacency in our lives. Starting with the truth that as believers we are called to a perfect love.
