The Wrong Direction

  • Monday, September 9, 2024

Saturday, Nancy Pelosi took time out from hawking her book in Austin, Texas to do an interview with Kara Swisher before Tuesday’s debate. Instead of ideas on reducing high prices on food or the crisis in Gaza with its implications for safety of our Jewish students, Pelosi tore into Democrats favorite subject, Donald Trump.

She suggested Trump wouldn’t show up to debate Harris. The Pelosi interview, which by the way was live, unlike the one and only interview presidential candidate Harris has done in 50 days, had the little audience laughing. Then the former speaker went on to call Trump a coward and join the journalist in a silly love-fest about Liz Cheney, daughter of the man Dems once loved to hate, Dick Cheney.

Nancy must have a memory loss about 27 Democrats filing impeachment charges against Dick Cheney in 2007. X (Twitter) is full of posts mocking Cheney the “war monger” who now supports Kamala Harris. Did Mrs. Pelosi or the reporter address that weird conundrum?

Only in the alternate reality world of leftists and progressives can they now gleefully celebrate Liz and Dick Cheney or think Trump is a coward who will dodge a debate. That kind of bizarre thinking has created so many hoaxes and why the country is headed in the wrong direction (ABC News 11/5/23).
