Edwin Gholson Howard
Edwin Gholson Howard, 80, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, peacefully at home with his wife, Jennifer and sister-in-law, Julie by his side.
He was born in Tuscumbia, Al., and retired from TVA in 1999 after working as a systems analyst with the Power Planning Group. He got his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Alabama in 1970 and his MBA from the University of Washington in 1979. He served as Quartermaster from 1969 to 1974 with the United States Naval Reserve.
He enjoyed reading, traveling, old movies, and his beloved pets.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson Howard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert T. Howard and Anna Deloney Howard.
There will be gathering of family and friends on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 2-6 p.m. at the Coulter Chapel of the Lane Funeral Home to celebrate Edwin's life.
