SmartBank Promotes Mike Honeycutt To Tennessee Division President

SmartBank announces the promotion of Mike Honeycutt to Tennessee division president, effective immediately. In this new role, Mr. Honeycutt will manage operations in the Tennessee market, encompassing 12 diverse counties and serving a client base through a network of 24 branches.  The Tennessee market boasts a portfolio of $2.2 billion in loans and $2.7 billion in deposits.

Mr. Honeycutt brings experience to this leadership position specializing in commercial lending, treasury management solutions and providing high-level executive support. He joined SmartBank in 2014 as a corporate commercial lending officer and has since held key leadership roles, including Knoxville area market executive. His understanding of SmartBank’s core values and strategic goals will play a pivotal role in driving growth and enhancing operational efficiency across the Tennessee market, said officials.
