Dean Gentry Named Manager Of Hamilton Funeral Home

Dean Gentry has been named manager of Hamilton Funeral Home on Hixson Pike and Cremation Center of Chattanooga, on Hickory Valley Road.

The Hamilton County native graduated from Sale Creek High School in 1986. He went on to graduate from the Gupton – Jones Funeral Services, receiving his Tennessee and Georgia funeral director's and embalmer's licenses.

Mr. Gentry and his wife Lisa live in Ringgold and attend Parkway Baptist Church, Fort Oglethorpe, where he is involved in the Senior Adult Ministry program.

Mr. Gentry said, “I find this a great opportunity to serve the families who trust us. I enjoy building lasting friendships with families and see this job as more than a profession; it’s a ministry. I’m very proud of my 32 years in funeral service and honored for this advancement opportunity.”

Mr. Gentry went on to say, “My family has used Hamilton and was very pleased with the facility and staff.”

Mr. Gentry spends his spare time with grandchildren and enjoys Tennessee football and NASCAR.
