As police arrived in the area, an employee identified a gray minivan leaving the parking lot as belonging to the subject. An officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver. Officers responded for a disorder with a female who had damaged the front entrance door. Police spoke with employees, who advised a female with red hair, black jacket and gray pants, was on talking on the phone and became agitated and raised her voice causing attention to be drawn to her. The subject then aggressively pushed the front door open causing it to come off track. Police later located the subject in the East Ridge City Hall lobby. She stated she was upset about the fines she had to pay the court and accidentally damaged the door because of her agitation. At the request of management, she was issued a citation in lieu of arrest for damage to the door.

The caller expressed concern for her fiancée, who resides at this address, after not hearing from her for four hours. She stated that her fiancée has a medical condition, and she was worried about her well-being. Officers contacted the party who were found to be in good health. She advised that she would contact the reporting party.

The reporting party then claimed that he thought she hit him and that he could not remember. Both parties appeared intoxicated and admitted to drinking before the argument. Due to conflicting stories and difficulty determining the primary aggressor, the parties were separated for the night.
