William “Bill” Russell Davis, Jr.
William “Bill” Russell Davis, Jr., 85, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
He was born in Chattanooga to the late William R. Davis, Sr., and Eileen Jordan Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lynn Davis and brother, David Davis.
Bill retired from TVA with over 25 years of service. He had great appreciation for music and had an enormous collection for which he loved to listen.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his three sons, Rusty (Kay) Davis, Michael (Stephanie) Davis, James (Shana) Davis, all of Chattanooga, two grandsons, Jason and Harrison Davis, two granddaughters, Olivia and Alayna Davis, three sisters, Eleanor Rose, Morristown, Tn., Patti (Steve) Foster, of Knoxville, Debbie (Blaine) O’Connor, of Jennings, La., and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Dr. Ken McElhaney officiating.
