Brandon Arnold is returning to McLemore as the new PGA head golf professional for the resort’s Highlands Course, an award-winning Rees Jones and Bill Bergin re-imagined, cliff-edge par 71 course that plays 7,055 yards from the tips. Most recently, Mr. Arnold served as the head golf professional at Council Fire Club, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations for the golf facility.

Mr. Arnold’s roots at McLemore go back to 2016 when he served as an assistant golf professional.
During the time of transition from Canyon Ridge to McLemore Resort, Mr. Arnold served as one of the foundational team members responsible for the $6 million grow-in of the semi-private course. He was responsible for all aspects of planning, coordinating and executing multiple member and member-guest tournaments. In addition, he was responsible for high-quality selection, budgeting and purchasing of all golf course and pro shop furnishings and merchandising for the new club.

Mr. Arnold shares that coming back to McLemore Resort is "like returning to family after a long journey away. The people of McLemore are what make this place so special. This includes membership, employees and every guest who comes to experience the gift that McLemore is to the golfing world.”

Charlie Rymer, McLemore Resort’s executive vice-president, said, “We’re excited to welcome Brandon home to McLemore. He returns with a focus on the business operations of golf. From understanding and instituting procedures and expectations for employees to coaching and mentoring over 160 PGA Junior Golf League Program participants, Brandon is at the right place and time for a leadership position with McLemore Resort, and we’re so proud to have him join us.”

Mr. Arnold has been a PGA member in good standing since 2020. He attended both Bryan College and Covenant College. Mr. Arnold and his family live in Ooltewah.
