Chattanooga Prep is about to graduate its first senior class.
Those students have secured $638,000 in college scholarships. Many of them will be the first in their family to attend college.
I urge Dr. Robertson and the school board to reconsider revoking Chattanooga Prep’s charter. Chattanooga Prep is a Chattanooga success story, as evidenced by its first senior class.
Revocation of its charter will place in jeopardy these hard-earned college scholarships.
The school board should find a compromise since these hard-working students deserve it.

Yes, those young men have worked hard and deserve to get the reward that they earned. Let's not forget they brought back the Gold Ball to Chattanooga last year, while breaking records. Youngest team, (all where juniors, or lower classmen), all African American young men, and Chattanooga has not seen the gold for over 15 years.
Let's celebrate their success and stop focusing on the negative. You without sin cast the first stone.
Go get the gold again, Chatt Prep. You can do it, hold your head up high young men, you guys have much to be proud of.
