Jacqueline Louise Baker McDaniel

Jacqueline Louise Baker McDaniel, 80, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Born in Fort Oglethorpe, she was raised in Chattanooga. Jacqueline worked for the Hamilton County Board of Education in the Payroll Department for many years and was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lebron McDaniel Sr.; father and step-mother, Russell Jackson and Almeada Baker; mother, Sara Elizabeth Barham Baker; and brother, Russell Baker Jr.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kim McDaniel Jr.; two sisters, Susan (Greg) Laduca and Karen (Allen) Sikes; two grandchildren, Jack McDaniel and Madison McDaniel; and three nieces.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 7, in the funeral home chapel.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Morris Hills Baptist Church in her honor.
