Bryan College announces its three speakers for the 2025 Commencement Ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, on the Triangle Lawn atop Bryan Hill.

Officials said, "This year’s speakers embody Bryan College’s mission of educating students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world, each offering a unique perspective grounded in faith, service and perseverance."

The Residential Program speaker will be Hosanna Baker. Graduating with a bachelor of science in engineering and a minor in physics, Ms.
Baker represents the next generation of Christian leaders in STEM. A California native raised in Tennessee, Ms. Baker’s passion for infrastructure grew from a desire to serve communities through practical solutions.

“My time at Bryan wasn’t just about classes—it was about growing through challenges and building relationships,” she said. “When things got tough, my family reminded me who I am. This degree is just as much theirs as it is mine.”

The Online Program speaker will be Jessica Patterson. A lifelong Rhea County resident and lead admissions counselor for Bryan Online, Ms. Patterson will speak on behalf of Bryan’s online graduates. Having completed her B.S. in applied psychology in 2024, she will be pursuing an M.A. in Christian thought and Biblical studies in the fall.

“More than anything, I’m passionate about helping others embrace their uniqueness while following God’s calling on their lives,” Ms. Patterson said.

The Golden Graduate speaker will be Dr. Steve Bradshaw. Dr. Bradshaw is a 1975 graduate of Bryan College and will be celebrating his 50th Golden Reunion this year. Honoring the legacy of Bryan’s Golden Graduates, Dr. Bradshaw brings decades of wisdom to the podium. A  professor of psychology at Bryan College for 38 years, Dr. Bradshaw later served as dean of the School of Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. A respected educator, clinician and mentor, his career has impacted generations.

"His integrated approach to psychology and theology continues to inspire those pursuing holistic care and Christ-centered education," officials said. "Bryan College’s 2025 Commencement celebrates not only academic achievements, but also the spiritual growth and servant-hearted mission of its graduates. The ceremony promises to be a joyful reflection of the college’s motto: Christ Above All."
