Liam Doyle was one of 54 pitchers named to the 2025 College Baseball Foundation Pitcher of the Year Watch List on Friday.
Doyle has been dominant up to this point in the season as the Vols' game one starter, posting a 6-1 record and a 2.47 ERA over nine starts. His six victories are tied for second in the SEC while his ERA ranks fifth in the league heading into this weekend's series against Kentucky.
The junior lefthander leads the nation with 95 strikeouts and 16.76 strikeouts per nine innings.
Doyle has recorded double-digit punchouts in five of his nine starts this year and has already been tabbed as the SEC Pitcher of the Week three times, marking a new UT single-season record.
The New Hampshire native also leads the conference in hits allowed per nine innings (4.76), WHIP (0.84) and opponent batting average (.153).
