The Chattanooga Lookouts continued their streak of dominant starting pitching in a 4-1 victory over the Montgomery Biscuits.
On Friday night it was Chase Burns' turn as he collected eight strikeouts in five innings, allowing only one run on five hits. Hunter Parks and Trevor Kuncl combined to throw four innings of shutout ball in relief to secure the victory with Kuncl notching his second save. The three pitchers combined for 16 strikeouts on the evening.
The top of the order continued to pace the Lookouts with two hits apiece from leadoff hitter Hector Rodriguez and Edwin Arroyo. Rodriguez collected his third homerun of the season and is now hitting .356. Arroyo is up to .340.
The Lookouts have now won three in a row over the Biscuits and look to continue the momentum on Saturday night before concluding the series on Sunday afternoon.
