Nancy Carol Martin, 72, adored wife, mother and Nana, passed away on June 12, 2025. She was born in Dutton, Alabama, but made her home in Chattanooga.

To know Nancy was to love her, she was equally kind hearted and unequivocally honest. She made you feel like you were her family; her presence was welcoming and warm, and her sense of humor brought comfort no matter the situation.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Edna Coffey, siblings; Harold Coffey, Nina Scott and Edwin Coffey, and her cherished son, Brian Martin.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Roy, her daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Brad Smith, her granddaughter, Larkin Smith, her brother Glenn Coffey, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Nancy to the charity of your choosing.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
