The Lookouts pounded out six doubles and two homeruns and then lock down closer Trevor Kuncl closed the door on the Columbus Clingstones on Tuesday night to give Chattanooga the 6-5 victory.
The Lookouts were just 3-11 with runners in scoring position and left ten men on base but Ethan O'Donnell and Ruben Ibarra homered and Cam Collier added two doubles. Each of the three and Jack Rogers had two hits apiece.
Trevor Kuncl was again dominant in the ninth inning allowing no baserunners to secure the save. He now has a miniscule 1.16 earned run average and one has to wonder how much longer the Reds will keep him in Chattanooga.
The two teams are back in action on Wednesday evening at 7:05 p.m.
