Sheriff Austin Garrett and Tennessee Highway Safety Office Deputy Director Jason Ivey
Sheriff Austin Garrett announced that the HCSO marked patrol vehicle has once again been voted Tennessee’s prestigious Best-Looking Cruiser by the public.
Each year, as part of the Tennessee Highway Safety Office’s Annual Law Enforcement Challenge, law enforcement agencies throughout the state compete for the coveted title of Best-Looking Cruiser where members of the public across the state vote for their favorite submission. This year’s award was announced at the 21st Annual Law Enforcement Challenge held in Murfreesboro, Tn.
Sheriff Garrett said, “The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is truly honored and humbled that the citizens of Tennessee have once again voted our marked patrol vehicle as the Best-Looking Cruiser in the state. This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from the people we proudly serve, not just here in Hamilton County, but also across all of Tennessee. To know that our cruiser design was chosen by public vote is a tremendous source of pride for our entire team. It speaks to the professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail that our deputies bring to their work each and every day. This achievement is more than just about aesthetics, it’s a reflection of the values, standards, and brand that define your Sheriff’s Office and reaffirms our motto of Leading the Way."
This is the third time the HCSO has won the state-wide challenge with the first being the inaugural contest in 2021.
The HCSO thanks all those across the county and state who took the time to support the agency and vote for its marked unit.
