I’ve lived in Chattanooga my whole life. I’ve seen this city change in more ways than I can count. Some of those changes have made me proud. But what I’m seeing out of City Hall lately makes me shake my head. Since 2021, the city budget has jumped from $255 million to $345 million. That’s a $90 million increase in just four years. Lookouts One-Hit By Smokies

The Chattanooga Lookouts dropped a second consecutive game to the Knoxville Smokies on Wednesday night by a score of 4-1. Shortstop Edwin Arroyo's sixth inning double kept the Lookouts from getting no hit by the Smokies staff. Knoxville starter Tyler Schlaffer allowed just the one hit in six complete innings. He struck five and walked five. Lookouts starting pitcher Ryan Cardona also had an excellent start, completing six innings and allowing only two runs on four hits with five strikeouts. ... more
