Day Shift July 30: B Squad25-008025 – 300 BLK Cedar Glen Circle – Motor Vehicle Crash
Police responded to a motor vehicle crash in the back yard of the residence. The driver stated that she fell asleep while driving home and went off the roadway. She drove through a residential yard, hit a pile of rocks, then drove through a fence narrowly missing the two homes. The woman refused
medical treatment, and her vehicle was towed from the scene.
25-007994 – 6800 BLK Ringgold Road - Harassing Threats
Police spoke with the manager who stated that an employee had received a threatening call last night from one of the guests. The suspect called and stated that the employee had disrespected his son and stated, "for disrespecting my son, why you gonna risk your life for this?" Police have
attempted to contact the employee for further details, but he has not responded.
25-007990 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Backup Other Agency
A Catoosa County detective requested East Ridge Police assist him in locating a woman and her boyfriend, both of whom have active warrants out of Ga. for Burglary. Officers were unable to contact either individual at the residence.
25-008001 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Pedestrian Struck
A man reported a black sedan struck him while he was utilizing the bike lane on Ringgold Road. Two witnesses on scene stated the black sedan never contacted the reporting party, nor did the driver run him off the road. When confronted with this information, he recanted his story. The man declined treatment from EMS and was sent on his way.
25-08000 – 700 BLK Barlow Way - Domestic Disorder
ERPD responded to this address on reports of a disorder. On arrival, police spoke with three parties. The reporting party stated a man sent his wife a text message stating he was calling child protective services on her. The married couple arrived shortly after to retrieve their child’s belongings from the
stepfather’s residence. During the retrieval process, a verbal altercation ensued. Conflicting stories of who did what to who were given, but no primary aggressor was determined.
Night Shift July 30: D Squad
25-008006 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft of Property
The caller reported his stolen iPhone was located at the phone repair store. The phone was originally reported missing in Chattanooga, but he tracked its location to the store in East Ridge. Police spoke with store employees and found an individual sold the phone to the store. The iPhone
was seized and placed into the ERPD Property Room until the owner was able to recover it. Warrants will be sought when the suspect’s identity is confirmed.
25-008011 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Criminal Trespass
Police responded to a disorder involving a woman, her mother, and members of the restaurant staff. The woman told Police her phone was stolen, and the staff would not help find it. Police determined she was intoxicated and accidentally left the phone at the restaurant earlier in the day. A friend
recovered the phone after the woman left, and an officer retrieved it from her. Due to the disorder, management requested criminal trespass for both women, reference Proximity Reports 25-000151 and 25-000152.
25-008013 – 1100 BLK Spring Creek Road – Drug Overdose
Police responded to a drug overdose and located a man unconscious on the front porch of his residence. Police initiated life saving measures until EMS arrived on scene. He was then transported to a local medical facility for further treatment.
25-008018 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with three warrants through the City of East Ridge. The charges on the arrest warrants were Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Child Abuse, and Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale.
25-008022 – 4000 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency
Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for three Failure to Appear warrants through the Hamilton County Sessions Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-008023 – 100 BLK Kingwood Drive – Suspicious Vehicle
A concerned citizen reported a red Ford SUV was slowly driving through the area and had been there earlier in the day . Police checked the neighborhood and found the suspicious vehicle was no longer on scene.
25-008028 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with a warrant through the City of East Ridge. The charge on the arrest warrant was Theft over $10,000.
