24 boys teams took part at two separate courses, Indian Hills in Murfreesboro and Cedar Crest in Smyrna. Baylor and Webb will play the top two teams on the other course that included Chattanooga Christian, Columbia Academy and Page.
Baylor shot 21-over-par 305 to finish second to Webb School in Bell Buckle who shot a seven-over-par 291 led by a pair of golfers that shot one-under-par 70.
"This was a fact finding mission for us. I'm extremely pleased how we played as this is our young team as my top four players weren't here," Baylor coach Gary Patrick said afterwards. Owen Bible carded a 72 while Hank McDowell and William Thomasson each turned in a 76. Finally, Brett Hogue shot 81 to round out the score.
