Over 500 athletes are in town for the 2025 National Junior & Youth Golden Gloves.
It is being held through Sunday at Camp Jordan Arena.
“This tournament is normally held in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York or other major cities across the country,” said tournament director Joe Smith. “It is an honor for Chattanooga to host this event, and we encourage boxing fans in Hamilton County to come out and support these athletes.
“Many of the older boxers you’ll see this weekend in East Ridge will represent the United States in the 2026 Olympics in Los Angeles. This is a major event that will have a tremendous economic impact on East Ridge and Hamilton County. Families have been here all week, and there are no hotel rooms available in this part of the county.”
Participants will compete in various weight classes for both males and females, with boxers ranging in age from eight to 18.
Daily adult tickets are $20, student tickets are $10 and children six and under are free. Weekend passes are $65 for adults and $30 for students.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate at Camp Jordan. Visit goldenglovesusa.org for more information.
