After a very tight set, Bradley Central breezed to a District 6-AAA sweep of Ooltewah, Thursday in the "Owls Nest."
The Bearettes survived a 25-22 opener before pulling away 25-13 and 25-14 to blank the hosts, improving to 7-2 overall on the young campaign and 2-0 in league play.
Bradley and Ooltewah will play in the Choo Choo Classic this weekend.
The Bearettes controlled the net, blasting 46 kill shots with junior My'Ryah Greenwood leading the way with 14 at a 48% success rate.
Senior Lilly Stewart spiked a dozen, while classmates Addison Stuman and Claudia Boyd helped out with eight and seven slams respectively.
Juniors Tabitha Eaves and Addi Staton collected five and three kills.
Greenwood, Stuman and Staton each had a block.
Stuman's big night also included 21 assists, 14 digs, while Stewart dug out nine shots and put nine Lady Owl serves in play.
Putting all 27 of her serves between the lines, junior Jenna Belcher dilled a half dozen aces, plus had nine digs, five service returns and an assist.
Junior libero Wyatt Powell put 19 Ooltewah serves in play, dished out eight assists, had five digs and was good on all nine of her serves.
Lilly Winters, also an 11th-grader, put 100% of her 11 serves between the lines, with two going for aces, plus she dealt eight "dimes," and had seven digs.
Junior Sadie Gallaher had five digs and a pair of assists for the victors, while Eaves returned eight Ooltewah serves.
Behind the line, Bradley put an amazing 98.6% of its serves in play, with just one service error in 74 attempts.
