Crew Worker Returns Lost Purse - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

A purse containing a phone and cash was found by a crew worker in the 5400 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. The property was returned to the rightful owner at their residence.

A fire alarm was reported at a school in the 4800 block of College Drive East. Before the officer's arrival, dispatch advised that the Fire Department was already on scene addressing the alarm system.

Suspicious activity was reported behind a business in the 5900 block of Reagan Lane.
A vehicle was located unoccupied, and attempts to identify or locate the driver were unsuccessful.

Public Works requested traffic assistance at Pine Hill Road and Lee Highway due to flood-related repairs. Officers assisted in blocking the roadway while crews placed a large rock at the site.

A property damage report was filed at the police department in the 4900 block of Swinyar Drive. The individual reported vehicle damage sustained on 7/30/25 for insurance documentation.

Due to storm-related activity, traffic signals at the intersection of Little Debbie Parkway and Old Lee Highway lost power. Officers directed traffic until Public Works arrived and restored functionality.

A resident in the 5100 block of Bes Moore Road requested advice regarding damage to a private road caused by a tree service. While speaking with officers, the tree service contacted the resident and agreed to make repairs.

An individual was taken into custody at the police department in the 4900 block of Swinyar Drive for a failure to appear warrant.

The caretaker at a residence in the 4500 block of Turkey Ridge Trail reported being locked out of the house on the upper balcony. After multiple calls, a family member provided a garage access code. Officers made entry and assisted in allowing the individual back into the residence.
