Children’s Hospital at Erlanger will host the annual FunFair Festival on Saturday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chattanooga Green, located at 140 Riverfront Parkway.
The FunFair Festival is a free event open to the public that will teach families ways to keep kids safe and injury-free using the five basic tools. These include maximizing love and stress management, talking, singing, and pointing, counting, grouping, and comparing, exploring through movement and play, and reading and discussing stories.
“We are pleased to once again collaborate with the City of Chattanooga’s Department of Early Learning to host this meaningful and fun event for our community,” said Lindsay Bass, Pediatric Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator. “With a wide array of community agencies participating, there will be something for everyone. We hope that the community will take advantage of the valuable resources and connections available at this event.”
The event is organized by members of Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, Basics Chattanooga, Safe Kids Southeast Coalition, and the City of Chattanooga Department of Early Learning. All organizations are dedicated to educating on ways to keep our kids safe and injury-free.
Mark your calendars and attend the festivities on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chattanooga Green, located at the corner of Riverfront Parkway and Chestnut Street.
