Houston Riley McBee, 67, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, in a Charleston, SC hospital.
Born in Jasper, TN, Mr. McBee served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. A 23-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a disabled American veteran, a member of the VFW, and the Fleet Reserve.
His survivors include a daughter, Linda Reese of Dunlap; sons, H. Larry McBee of Dunlap, Kenny McBee of Kingman, AZ; brothers, Harvey L. McBee of Santee Circle, SC, William M. McBee of Rossville, Mitchell McBee of East Ridge; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A graveside funeral service with military honors will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-9 p.m.
