The weather was perfect and the trail was rugged at the Mountain Top Classic
on top of Lookout Mountain. The hosts, Covenant College took both the men's and the women's team titles.
Candace Simon of Tennessee State edged Covenant's Rebecca Roos to win the women's race. In the men's race, Jed Leodard of Sewanee finished just ahead of Covenant's Brad Williams and Josh Turner who finished second and third.
