Chattanooga Zoo Is Getting A New Sign

  • Wednesday, June 4, 2003

A new entrance sign to the Chattanooga Zoo will be unveiled on Thursday, June 5, at 2 p.m.

The large sign is 22 feet wide by 24 feet tall.

Zoo staff member Morgan Manning and Siskin Steel collaborated on the new sign. It features pictures of some of the Zoo's main attractions, such as the Red Panda.

The purpose of the sign is to help residents and tourists identify the zoo entrance, increasing the zoo's visibility.

The zoo's entrance is located at 1101 McCallie Avenue.
