Community Volunteers Helping Wreaths Across Chattanooga At Elder's Ace Hardware-Ooltewah

  • Thursday, July 24, 2025
During 2025, it’s estimated that an additional one thousand veterans will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery.  This Saturday, Wreaths across Chattanooga volunteers will be accepting donations at Elder’s Ace Hardware-Ooltewah, 9231 Lee Hwy., to help ensure a wreath is placed on each of these additional graves at Chattanooga National Cemetery.  Wreaths will be placed on Saturday, Dec. 13.

There are over 51,000 veterans laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery.  The mission of Wreaths across Chattanooga is to place a wreath on each grave at Chattanooga National Cemetery.   In partnership with Food City, the wreaths will remain at $10, and donations can be made by mail to:  Wreaths across Chattanooga, 426 Market St., Chattanooga, Tn.
37402, or online at www.chattareaveterans.com/wac.

"Please remember that Wreaths across Chattanooga is a 100 percent all volunteer non-profit organization," officials said.
