Frances Andes Deitch, 88, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, December 25, 2005.
She was an active member of Ridgedale Baptist Church, a member of the Senior Adult Choir and the Jolly Elders. She was also a member of the Career Girls Supper Club and Senior Neighbors.
She was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College and was retired as executive secretary from Eureka Foundry.
She is survived by one son, Ed Deitch, Carrollton, GA; one daughter, Katherine "Kathy" Deitch Veal, Ringgold, GA; one sister, Mrs. R. Paul (Gladys) Smith, Chattanooga; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Wednesday.
