Claude A. Crowe, of Chattanooga, died Monday, April 25, 2005, in a local hospital.
He was a faithful servant of God, devoted husband and beloved father. Mr. Crowe was a World War II Army veteran, 3264th ORD Base Depot Co. He retired from the Chattanooga Glass Company.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Crowe Tucker; father, James W. Crowe; mother, Lovella Crowe; brothers, Marian Crowe and Walter Crowe; sisters, Imogene Thurman and Willie Mae LeQuire.
Claude is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lorraine Rachel Crowe and daughter, Claudia (Dr. William) Shelton; sister, Gail Roddy; brothers, Boyd Crowe (Betty), Charlie Crowe (Lorell), and Ray Crowe (Frances). “Pap-pa” will be dearly missed by grandchildren, Jennifer Mastin (Tom) and Bill Shelton, III; great-grandchildren, Callie McCall Mastin and William Cooper Mastin.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel with Rev. Richard Blalock and Rev. Steve Roberson officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace.
