Bessie Lee Gravett, 84, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006, in a local health care facility.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gravett; sisters, Lucy Evans, Hazel Creasman; brothers, Charlie Harris, John Harris, Jessie Harris, Andy Harris and Sherman Harris.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Walker; son, Alvin Gravett; sisters, Jeanett Scates, Charlice Rogers, Emily Hart; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Sneed and the Rev. Larry Gravett officiating. Interment will follow in Dodd Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-9 p.m. Friday.
