Ramona Annette Crabtree Owens, 49, of LaFayette, Ga., died on Tuesday, August 14, 2007.
She was an employee with Walker County Corrections for 15 years and of the Baptist faith. Ramona also enjoyed league bowling at Fort Lanes in Fort Oglethorpe.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Crabtree, aunt, Addie Pain, uncle, Cord L. Powell.
She is survived by her mother, Rebecca “Becky” Powell of LaFayette; brothers, Bruce Ray Crabtree of Naples, Fl. and Bradley Ryan Crabtree of LaFayette; uncles, Wayne Meadows, Grady Walker and Bennis Crabtree; aunts, Jean Meadows, Rachel Walker, Barbara Kelley, Melba Powell and Kay Powell; nephews, Jeremy Crabtree; nieces, Randi Fouts and Codi Crabtree; great-nephew, Tyler Fouts; sisters-in-law, Sydney (Lamar) Weeks and Judy Corbin; brother-in-law, Michael Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, in the LaFayette Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor John Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Her family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, all day Friday, and Saturday until time of service.
