Chattanooga Sports Car Club Makes Special Delivery To Children's Hospital

The Chattanooga Region Sports Car Club of America recently stopped by T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital with a generous amount of holiday surprises for patients and their families.

Dr. Jim Osborn, local pediatrician and ortho/spine surgeon with Spine Surgery Associates, has partnered with CRSCCA for eight consecutive years to collect donations to purchase toys for TCTCH patients. The toys are delivered in memory of Dr. Osborn's son, Hatch.

The Sports Car Club of America is a club and sanctioning body supporting road racing, rally, and autocross in the United States. Formed in 1944, SCCA runs many different programs for both amateur and professional racers.

T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital at Erlanger is a Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center, the highest designation in the state for pediatrics, featuring a full complement of pediatric subspecialists as well as a pediatric emergency room and a pediatric intensive care unit.

The hospital's Level III neonatal intensive care unit provides the highest level of care in the region to premature and sick infants. The mission of T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital at Erlanger is to improve pediatric and adolescent health in a family-centered environment.
