Robyn Burns
Robyn Elaine Burns, 25, of Hixson, died on Sunday, March 2, 2008.
Robyn was a native of Durham, N.C., and attended the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences. She was currently a student at Austin Peay State University and was a William E. Brock Scholar in the University Honors Program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Robyn was currently employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. She was a member of Rivermont Presbyterian Church.
Robyn is survived by her son, Trevor Gann; her parents, Randy and Donna Burns; sister, Rachel Burns (Michael) Howard; grandparents, Frank and Ila Burns, Betty Hough and Joe Hough; great grandmother, Beth Atchley; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Rivermont Presbyterian Church with Dr. Daniel Sansbury officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Commons of Rivermont Presbyterian Church, 3319 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way, 630 Market Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37402.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
